Transporting a fragile product demands a specialized trailer that can minimize product damage. A trailer with too much flex, not the right strapping system, or insufficient supporting structure will damage the glass panes. The glass haulers are specifically designed with all these issues in mind. The glass holding system is made up of four main components:

1. Base
2. A-Frame
3. Glass clamps
4. Stopper

The glass is loaded onto the base and leaned onto the A-Frame. The rubber on the bases moulds to the glass, preventing breakage. The glass bundle is then tied down using patented glass clamps. This clamp has a hinged point that spreads the load evenly over the glass to minimize the stress concentrations. The last component is to stop the glass from sliding forward when braking. Most of the key components are adjustable to give the operator the flexibility to load standard or non-standard glass sizes.
